Shaken Baby Syndrome

I am sure you are familiar with the case of Alan Yurko, since his situation is now known worldwide by most of the medlegal community. Having reviewed both the medical and the legal documentation of the case, the following facts are clear:

1. This man was convicted by evidence now challenged by many legitimate authorities in the scientific community.

2. The physical reactions resulting from DPT vaccine may be identical to those associated with Shaken Baby Syndrome.

3. The prosecution's witnesses at Yurko's trial never requested or saw the hospital records.

4. The debilitated child received vaccines that were both contraindicated and contaminated.

As a professional and a worldwide lecturer and author in the field of vaccines, I am intimately aware of the details of vaccine damaged children. At 8 weeks of age, the Yurko infant was given 6 vaccines all on the same day. If this one fact gets into evidence, the legal ramifications will be staggering. I say that because the manufacturers of those 6 vaccines specifically warn in the insert that the vaccines should not be given to:

premature infants
infants with acute infection
infants with neurological pathology
debilitated infants

The most cursory perusal of the medical history in this case reveals that the Yurko child should have been excluded from vaccination for any one of these reasons.

Astoundingly, all four applied to him!

This is not even mentioning that the infant received a dose from the hottest lot in the history of DPT vaccine.

I am not a lawyer, but just assuming these two facts are true and correct, along with the standard medical awareness that the clinical presentations of Shaken Baby Syndrome and DPT reaction can be identical, it doesn’t take a genius to begin to ask how on earth is this man going to be compensated for the irrevocable damage to his life by six years of wrongful imprisonment. There are no words to describe the extent of the evil that may have been perpetrated on this man’s life in the name of justice. Only an Alexander Dumas might take a shot at expressing such violence to life and liberty. If Alan Yurko prevails, as certainly he must, who will share the liability for what he has endured? The prosecution?

The prosecution’s expert witnesses? The hospital? The hospital staff? The vaccine manufacturers?

You gentlemen?

The Florida court system is not highly regarded by the rest of the country in general, for obvious reasons. You already need to be doing it better. The longer you delay, the worse everyone is going to look.

Time to get down to cases, gentlemen. If you think Alan Yurko is guilty, let his appeal see the light of day.

I am not a neurologist, pathologist, immunologist or an expert in histology. I am, however a seasoned clinician all too familiar with the skills and processes needed to find out the cause of a patient's ailment(s).

After having performed extensive study of the medical records of the infant Alan Joseph Ream Yurko, whose father was convicted of murdering him by SBS, I have come to several conclusions about the case. Among those conclusions is one that the attending physician, consultant, radiologist and the medical examiner all failed to perform a differential diagnosis in this case.

A differential diagnosis is one in which every feasible etiology (cause) for each and every symptom, sign and clinical finding is noted, then either eliminated or corroborated by all the other symptoms, signs, and clinical findings. This approach can point to an etiology of at least reasonable plausibility.

A differential diagnosis should be performed in every interaction between a patient and health care provider, but one was clearly absent in the Yurko case. Sadly they are absent in most medical encounters.

I was treated to a lecture by Thomas E. Levy who wrote a book entitled "Vitamin C: Past, Present, and Future Uses." He points to a convincing connection between Vitamin C and diseases such as ebola and Vitamin C depletion (scurvy). These views might also have relevance for Shaken Baby Syndrome and related hemorrhagic phenomena. Review of this important reference may help those who are battling the Establishment on this issue.
